Early parliamentary elections in France: sensational victory of the left and failure of Marine Le Pen

According to the results of the second round:
The best result was achieved by the left-wing coalition “New People’s Front”, which received 182 seats.

In second place is the centrist coalition of the current French President Emmanuel Macron “Together for the Republic” – 168 seats.

The third place is occupied by the right-wing National Rally party of Marine Le Pen and Jordanne Bardella – 143 seats.

The remaining mandates went to independent MPs and representatives of small associations.

Thus, no party or association has secured a majority of seats in the 577-seat parliament, which requires 289 mandates.

Without Macron, there will be no more coalitions in parliament
